Hi John I have met a lot of young musicians via Bandit. One of them was a very young Josh Doyle from Ashford Kent who was a student at Chichester College. He found an old copy of Bandit in the college studio. He saw my details and what I was looking for, and rang me.

We struck up a great artist/manager relationship. His demos were rough, but he listened and learnt his trade. Eventually, we formed a band called the Dum Dums, and after a year they were a regular on the London gig scene. We eventually signed a major deal, and had 4 hit singles, played Wembley with Bon Jovi, toured with Robbie Williams, did loads of TV and made lots of cool videos.

Josh now lives in Nashville. He bought a lovely home, and now gigs in Nashville area and writes for other artists. Thanks to Bandit his life has been enhanced considerably! This is just one example of how Bandit can short circuit the system and bring together like minded people.

How anyone can be cynical about the Bandit Newsletter beats me?

Earlier in the year you announced that Red Admiral Records we were looking for additional artists. We are pleased to announce that through your good pages, a young band from Norfolk called "Jago" contacted our publishing company "Cringe Music" who gave them the deal they were looking for.
Due to the the non-originality of their name, some changes had to take place and they are now called "Hardly Mozart", their first album "Whatever Happened to Jago" has beeen released on Red Admiral Records and is picking up BBC airplay, attention and downloads.
